A. Information You Provide

• Profile Information: When you sign up, we collect your chosen username and any profile data provided via Google or Apple OAuth (such as your name and email address).
• User Content: We collect the skate spot locations, descriptions, photos, and video clips you upload to the platform. All content uploaded to the app can be used and modified as we see fit.

B. Device Permissions

The application requires specific permissions to function correctly:

• Geolocation (GPS): Used exclusively to help you discover nearby skate spots and to accurately tag the location of new spots you contribute.
• Camera: Used to take photos of skate spots for documentation and to record video clips of tricks.
• Microphone: Used to capture audio during video recording of your skate clips.

2. Third-Party Services

We utilize several industry-standard backend services to power NBD-Skate:

• Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication, database management, and file storage. Your profile data and uploaded media are stored on Supabase servers.
• AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads.

3. Data Security & Encryption

We take data security seriously and implement the following measures:

• In-Transit Encryption: All data transmitted between the NBD-Skate app and our backend services is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS) protocols.
• At-Rest Encryption: Data stored on our servers via Supabase is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
• Authentication: We use secure OAuth 2.0 flows for Google and Apple sign-in, ensuring we never see or store your third-party account passwords.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the application's features.
• To facilitate the "Game of S.K.A.T.E." matchmaking and rating systems.
• To display your contributions (spots and clips) to the community.
• To analyze app usage to improve the user experience.

5. Data Retention

• We may retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the app settings or by contacting our support.
• We reserve the right to remove any content

6. Children's Privacy

NBD-Skate is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
